Our story

How did it all start?

The originators of the iVoting project are an innovator Marcin Gawlas and, wishing to maintain his anonymity, the author of the VoteCastle protocol, which uses Blockchain technology in Internet voting. A meeting between the two gentlemen, held in November 2017, resulted in the iVoting project idea being submitted to an accelerator competition. In April 2018 the iVoting project team was formed in partnership with the Polish Blockchain Technology Accelerator in Warsaw.

Participation in the Blockchain for Social Good competition

As the only start-up from Poland, iVoting qualified for the international competition organized by the European Commission Horizon 2020 “Blockchain for Social Good”, where the main prize was 1 million Euro.

Project listed on the innovation map of the Ministry of Digitalisation

The Ministry of Digitalisation has placed the iVoting project piloted in Jaworze municipality on its official innovation map. The map includes applications of new technologies in local government units and it also serves as a collection of good practices that can be a source of inspiration for other local governments.

The iJawor application made in PWA technology available on iOS, Android and Windows will enable social consultations and a two-way communication with residents.

The success of iVoting University at the International Blockchain Olympiad in Hong Kong!

“The presented concept of the application, was designed by two students of the School Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Warsaw in collaboration with our team of specialists. International Blockchain Olympiad – IBCOL in Hong Kong recognised the project with an Award of Merit.”

Launch of iVoting application

iVoting Free

“Launch of iVoting Free dedicated to all Internet users who want to organise electronic voting and use the tool for social and social and entertainment purposes.

The iVoting Free application is a pilot tool that serves to build a group of social testers for ongoing research and development projects related to e-voting. The free application will be used to test the new technology in a real Internet environment in mass voting with hundreds of thousands of Voters and thousands of active votes in real time.”

Signing of an investment agreement with the ARR in Bielsko-Biała. Commencing works on computer code for the iVoting protocol within Carbonet – a limited liability company.

The increase of the company’s capital related to the arrival of a new investor -Filip Pawczyński. The contribution was covered by a contribution in the form of an innovative algorithm developed as a result of R&D work, allowing to accept payments in multiple currencies (through physical POS points or payment gateways, browsers or applications).
